Confirming the Service Arrangement
Before proceeding with a shipment, obtain confirmation of the contracting entity, the services to be provided, the quotation and the applicable service terms.
A website enquiry or automated acknowledgement does not, by itself, confirm a booking, cargo acceptance, transport capacity or a delivery deadline.
Shipment Information
Provide the information relevant to your proposed shipment, including:
- Origin and destination
- Collection and delivery addresses
- Cargo description and package type
- Number of packages or pieces
- Weights and dimensions
- Cargo value and currency, where requested
- Cargo ready date
- Required services and delivery requirements
- Special handling, storage or temperature requirements
- Available commercial and shipping documents
Identify information that is estimated or not yet confirmed, and notify the team of relevant changes before the service arrangements are finalised.
Dangerous Goods & Specialised Cargo
Disclose dangerous-goods, battery and other specialised cargo requirements when submitting your enquiry.
Relevant information may include the UN number, proper shipping name, dangerous goods class, packing group, quantity, packaging and an available SDS or MSDS.
Not every battery type or dangerous good can automatically be accepted. Transportation is subject to applicable carrier, regulatory and packaging requirements.
Heavy, Oversized & Project Cargo
Provide available piece weights, dimensions, technical drawings, lifting drawings and handling requirements for heavy or oversized cargo.
Identify whether cranes, forklifts, heavy-lift arrangements or other special equipment are required so the proposed movement can be reviewed.
Customs & Documentation
Provide available commercial invoices, packing lists and supporting trade documents relevant to the shipment.
Final HS classification remains subject to confirmation by the relevant customs authority or appointed licensed customs broker. Duty and tax estimates require verification.
Urgent & Time-Critical Shipments
State your required delivery date and time, together with the cargo readiness and collection requirements.
Next-available-flight coordination is subject to airline capacity and operational availability. A requested deadline is not a confirmed delivery commitment.
Cargo Insurance
Cargo insurance options may be coordinated through approved insurance providers based on the cargo, value, origin, destination and transport mode.
An insurance enquiry or automated acknowledgement does not confirm insurance cover or constitute an insurance policy.
Claims & Shipment Questions
